Give your garden some colour – the new MiPOW Playbulb Garden

Our garden was OK until we realised that the previous owner had decided to fill in an old pond pretty badly. Over the years it’s developed into the Himalayas and I’ll probably need to get someone to roll over it with something.

I’m no gardening expert, but I do know how to pad out a story so that it’s not just one paragraph. That’s for sure.

Now, a short while ago we posted a Playbulb review. It was a remotely controlled lightbulb which could also blast out tunes via an in-built speaker. All from your phone. Pretty neat. Then there was the Playbulb Candle, which emits light and a fragrance too.

If you don’t have a wibbly-wobbly garden like me, you can light it up with some solar-powered colour-changing lights from MiPOW. These turn on or off depending on the lighting conditions (obviously off in the day) and, via the same PLAYBULB X application, you can control the lighting over Bluetooth. Group up to five of them together for “total ambience”.

These can be bought from Selfridges from September for £39.99.

Cortana for Android (beta) coming in July.
