The Oppo Find X2 Pro has tickled our taste buds. We’ve not heard much from their PR guys, but we can tell you that it’s an incredibly fast-charging phone (65W SuperVOOC) with a 6.7″ 120Hz 3168 x 1440 QHD+ “Ultra Vision” screen.
Around back there’s a 48 megapixel main lens, a 48 megapixel wide-angle lens and a 13 megapixel telephoto lens. Up front, a 32 megapixel in-display selfie camera.
The whole show is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 CPU (2.84GHz) and there’s 12GB RAM plus 512GB of storage.
Big spec and big battery life – 4260mAh. No microSD card but, hey, you’ve got 512GB there.
Now, Virgin Media have already announced that they will be taking Oppo phones, but today we got confirmation of exactly which ones. As hoped, the Find X2 Pro is on there – as are a few others.
Customers can pre-order the Find X2 Pro, the Find X2 Neo and the Find X2 Lite from the network right now. There’s loads of deals including 100GB data for £45 a month on the Pro, £29 a month for the Neo and £24 a month for the Lite.
In addition, Virgin Media are throwing in some extra goodies if you pre-order. There’s BANG & OLUFSEN headphones, a BANG & OLUFSEN speaker or OPPO Enco headphones.
The 5G variants of the new Oppo phones (Virgin Media are due to switch to Vodafone as their mast provider but will be doing 5G via BT / EE masts before that) are available in black, The Find x2 Lite has 128GB of internal memory, the Find X2 Nwo has 256GB and the Find X2 Pro has 512GB.
There’s data roll over and data-free WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Twitter as standard with Virgin. If you’ve got Virgin Media cable, you can benefit from the “Truly Unlimited” plan for unlimited texts, unlimited minutes and unlimited data from £62 a month for the Find X2 Pro, £46 a month for the Find X2 Neo or £41 a month for the Find X2 Lite.
