Oppo Find X2 Pro. Still looking really rather smashing.

We’re really liking the looks of the Oppo Find X2 Pro. Sadly their PR team have gone all quiet on us, but we can tell you that you can register your interest in buying the phone over at Carphone Warehouse.

The specs are already out there and we’ve already seen the 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 “Flash” charging, which is bonkers and then some…

In addition, Oppo have just added this unboxing, so you can see it in the flesh…

There’s a 6.7″ 120Hz 3168 x 1440 QHD+ “Ultra Vision” screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 6, two billion colours and a “O1 Ultra Vision Engine”. It’s 513ppi, which is almost as much as the screen on the Galaxy S10, and has a 240Hz sampling rate.

The camera equipment is called an “Ultra Vision System” and includes a Sony IMX689 48 megapixel main shooter (f/1.7) a 48 megapixel wide-angle Sony IMX586 and a 13 megapixel telephoto lens. That lot delivers great night shots and up to 60x digital zoom . There’s also a 32 megapixel selfie camera at the front (in display). Check out some of the pictures they’ve taken with these lenses here. They look really very nice indeed.

This is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 CPU running at up to 2.84GHz with an Adreno 650 GPU. It’s got 12GB RAM and a massive 512GB of storage. No microSD card but, hey, you’ve got 512GB there.

That battery is a bit special. Not only does it charge super-quick, but there’s actually two batteries, both 2130mAh and interconnected to bring it up to a 4260mAh capacity.

In addition to a hidden fingerprint unlock system, there’s GPS, NFC for your contactless payments, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band WiFi and Type-C charging.

The OS is ColorOS 7.1 based on Android 10.0 and this will do dual-band 5G. It’s going to be available in Black (Ceramic) and Orange (Vegan Leather).

Here’s an unboxing while you’re waiting for it to become available…
