Virgin Mobile add Huawei handsets to their range

Something is in the air people. Yes. I can feel it. When Vodafone called to try and keep me as a customer (here’s how that’s going by the way), they offered me a Huawei handset. I asked them how the Huawei handsets were doing against the likes of Apple and Samsung. The nice lady on the phone told me that the P20’s were their “best selling phones” at the moment.

Now Virgin Mobile, who use EE masts, are including Huawei in their selection of phones too. This includes the Huawei P20 we reviewed and the Huawei P20 Pro too. Prices on the Huawei P20 start from £23 a month (1GB data) with no upfront cost and £27 a month with no upfront cost for the Huawei P20 Pro (again, 1GB data).

However, Virgin Mobile are dishing out lots of extra data on some plans right now, so you can get 6GB of data on the P20 for £26 per month (or £29 for 15GB). If you want the P20 Pro it’s £30 for 6GB and £3 per month for 15GB. Shhh…. just don’t mention the fact that these are 36 month deals (you can get 24 month plans too)

The network is also giving an additional £100 on the value of any old handset you trade in. So, if you have a phone worth £300, they’ll give you £400 for it. Boom! Virgin are also to sell the Huawei P Smart we reviewed and the Huawei Y7.
