Three to turn on their additional Feel at Home destinations next week

Three to turn on their additional Feel at Home destinations next week
Hey people. It’s Friday. We can wind down now, possibly get on a plane and go and get some sunshine yeah? Well, if that’s the plan, you can always get yourself a Three SIM and enjoy their “Feel at Home” service. As you know by now, it’ll let you use your inclusive minutes, texts and data in any of the 42 locations covered in the system. We’ve given it a full test in America recently and, despite some traffic shaping and network management, it’s certainly a whole lot cheaper than the £54 Vodafone bill I received after making just 4 local calls on my normal phone whilst in the USA.

Doah.

So, you’ve read our holiday tips and you’ve got everything you need for keeping in touch abroad. It’s all gravy. You’ve read our Feel at Home testing feature and you’ve checked that you’re heading to one of the 42 included locations. You’re all set, but when … just when will those recently-added 24 additional European countries go live? Three told us that it’d be September, but just when in September?

Well, Three have today confirmed that the extension to their Feel At Home service will be going live on the 8th of September 2016. That’s next Thursday people.

The new additions to the list include Greece, Portugal and Germany. For more information and the full list of additional destinations, head below or hit their website.

IT’S TIME TO ROAM WITHOUT WORRY

– Three extends popular Feel At Home service to an additional 24 European destinations from 8th September –

Roaming expert Three has announced that customers can use its Feel At Home service in an additional 24 European destinations, including Germany, Portugal and Greece from Thursday 8th September 2016. This brings the total destinations covered by the service to 42, meaning travellers can use their phones abroad at no extra cost in more destinations than ever.

Three was the first network to scrap roaming charges for its customers in a range of destinations back in 2013 and continues to lead the market with its biggest stand against unfair roaming charges to date, making Feel At Home the most attractive offer for phone users in the UK as from 8th September they will be able to tweet, snap and browse the web in a total of 42 destinations, without the fear of bill shock on return.

Danny Dixon, Director of Customer Strategy at Three, commented “We are delighted to announce our Feel At Home offering now covers more destinations than any other network. This means that customers can now enjoy trips to the most popular travel spots both inside and outside of Europe without returning home to an unexpectedly high phone bill!”

The full list of Feel At Home destinations is as follows: Spain, France, Switzerland, Israel, Finland, Norway, USA, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Macau, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Austria, Hong Kong, Sweden, Denmark, Republic of Ireland, Germany, Greece, Portugal. Croatia, Poland, Belgium, Netherlands, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Malta, Lithuania, Slovakia, Estonia, Latvia, Iceland, Slovenia, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Channel Islands (Guernsey and Jersey).
