Yes. I used the word “was”. Sadly, after spotting it on MoDaCo we’ve had it confirmed from our sources that the Hudl project is indeed closed. It looks like Tesco are ditching their own Android tablet and removing all advertising for it.
We quite liked these tablets, even with the Tesco app bloat, but it looks like you’ll need to look elsewhere for a bargain-basement tablet from now on. Get down Lidl, they’ve probably got one. 🙂
