Z2 Force on the way to Vodafone

We took a look at the new Moto Z2 Play in June. Shortly after that, the Moto Z2 Force appeared. This has a guaranteed shatter-resistant screen and more of those lovely MotoMods. It’s thinner too – just 6.1 mm and that P-OLED 5.5″ screen is 1440 x 2560 pixels with a 16:9 ratio at 534 ppi.

It’s powered by Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) and runs on an octa-core Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 CPU with an Adreno 540 GPU. Depending on the model, you get either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage with either 4GB or 6GB of memory. There’s a dual 12 megapixel arrangement at the back with dual-LED flash and a 5 megapixel front shooter too.

The phone also features WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and a USB type-C charger. No 3.5mm audio port though. A 4000 mAh battery powers the show.

What we can say now is that UK network Vodafone are going to be carrying the handset at some point soon, so keep a look out for it.
