Honor 6X Launches on Three UK

How does £16 per month sound for your next smartphone? The Honor 6X has now arrived on Three UK and, if you’ve already seen our first impressions, you’ll know what it looks like.

It comes with a dual 12+2 megapixel rear camera for wide aperture range, an 8 megapixel selfie shooter and an Octacore Huawei Kirin 655 CPU running 4x 2.1GHz and 4x 1.7GHz. Inside there’s 32GB of storage and a microSD slot so that you can expand it by another 128GB if you wish.

Apologies for the carpet. Matteo has some interesting tastes 🙂

The screen is a 5.5″ 1920×1080 Full HD unit and it has a fingerprint reader at the back. Three are selling the grey version and it’ll do 4G, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi but sadly no NFC / Android payments that we can see.

For £16 per month on a 2 year contract you’ll get 300 minutes, all-you-can-eat texts and 500MB of data. For £26 per month you can get unlimited texts and calls plus 4GB of data – that’s perhaps the better deal right now as they have 4GB for the price of 2GB available. £29 will get you 8GB per month (instead of 4GB) and there’s no up-front charges on any of these offers. Not only do Three have “double data” offers on their 2GB and 4GB contracts, they’ve got them on the 12-month SIM only plans AND the Mobile Broadband offerings too.

The Honor 6X can also be purchased for £199.99 on Pay As You Go, subject to a £10 minimum top-up. It’ll be unlocked so you can have SIM only with another network if you want, or perhaps get one of those double-data deals.
