Sony launch the Xperia E1
It’s looking like Mobile World Congress may not be the only place to see lots of phone launches. The third handset to launch today is this, the Xperia E1 from Sony. They are billing it as “simply the best smartphone in its’ class” and it comes with a potent 100dB speaker and the advanced audio technology from Sony to give you a crisp and clear music experience – even without headphones.

The handset has a 4″ WVGA (800×480) (233ppi) display and gets a free 30-day pass into the Sony Entertainment Network, so you can enjoy streamed music via the Sony WALKMAN app and test out that 100dB speaker fully. Like the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra the E1 will also have a dual-SIM version. This is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU and comes with 512MB RAM plus 4GB of storage. It’ll be available in black, white and purple and will come with a 1700 mAh.

No pricing as yet, but expect to pay around £145 SIM-free. Cheap.
