Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the courts, this time Samsung Electronics got a tick in the win column in Tokyo for patents relating to transferring media between devices.
“We welcome the court’s decision, which confirmed our long-held position that our products do not infringe Apple’s intellectual property,” said Samsung. How important that case was to Apple, we may never know, but they didn’t request to have other Samsung products banned this time. Its not the last time the two will clash in the land of the rising sun as there are other cases due to be scheduled.
