A new version of the iPlayer got released a couple of days back. If you update now then you’ll be able to watch TV across 3G – not just WiFi. There’s also improved streaming with new versions of Adobe Flash.
The usual warnings apply of course, so don’t forget to have a healthy data allowance if you’re going to watch “Top Gear” for the whole afternoon, and this will only work if you’re in the UK. Oh, and don’t forget to pay the BBC Licence Fee. OK, warning overload.

Finally…. great news!
been using it na few days, its great to have Beeb on the move!
Now if they can get it working on a tablet, through in 5OD and 4OD for good measure I can move to that for catch up….. Saying that Sky is starting this next month with iplayer / ITVOD so I suppose thats bad timing lol.

“and don’t forget to pay the BBC Licence Fee”
One doesnt need a tv license to watch iplayer. tvlicense is only for live broadcasts
