Nokia Lumia sales looking promising

An estimate from 22 Bloomberg analysts puts Lumia sales to operators and retailers at between 800,000 and 2 million units globally. Not bad projections when the Lumia only went on sale in Europe in November 2011 and the figures are up to the end of the year. These are of course estimates and we’ll have to wait to see the actual figures. Nokia have pinned their smartphone  future on the Lumia and early indications may be that the Microsoft alliance is going to do well. As already reported, the Lumia 900 is coming in June so it will be an interesting, and critical year for Nokia’s smartphone business.
