Android wallpaper apps are a nightmare. There are loads of them. In the main they are just front ends to a website full of qvga wallpapers. Which when you use on you nice new tablet or qHD phone the picture looks horrendous.
The Wallbase website has a large amount of high resolution images and this app as mentioned earlier is a front end to that site. The difference here though is the quality of the wallpapers. I have downloaded quite a few to use on my desktop monitor as well as a selection of tablets.
Overall Wallbase is a great app as I’m finding a lot of the other wallpaper apps are full of the same old low resolution images and this app has quite a few wallpapers I haven’t seen. Yes there are adverts. A neccesary evil I guess. But it’s a free app and they are letting you download a lot of really good material. Below is the link to the market. Enjoy.
