Over on XDA Developers it seems that the SIRI Protocol has been cracked and this now potentially means that it could be ported or used on different OS including Android!.
We are able to use Siri’s recognition engine from any device. Yes, that means anyone could now write an Android app that uses the real Siri!
However before we all get too excited, expect Apple to get right on this and find some way of fixing or blocking to stop this actually getting out into peoples hands unless you have an iPhone 4S as SIRI is a key selling point and a big reason people buy the 4S still over the 4.
