"Official" Facebook app available for Android

The long-awaited Facebook app has now arrived on Android. Available from the Android Market you can now hook up with your online friends and keep in touch on the move. Coming complete with a widget this also includes uploads for pictures and news-feed updates. There are a few things missing – we couldn’t find a way to get into the inbox, see friends’ profiles or tag photos and we couldn’t upload videos.


This is the first version though, so we’ll see how things develop and it’s completely free to download. You can do some cool things like shaking your phone to refresh feeds.
