No sooner is the handset out and yes, there’s an unlocker for it. This time it’s the HTC Hermes, aka the Orange SPV M3100, T-Mobile Vario II, Vodafone v1605, etc etc. So, who’s responsible for network unlocking this device? Yup, it’s imei-check.co.uk again.
imei-check already do network / SIM unlocking for pretty much every Windows Mobile handset so it’s no real surprise that this new device has been added too. We’d obviously have to frown on this unlocking process though because it means you’re not subsidizing the handset you’ve purchased if you switch to another networks’ SIM.
