US network Verizon has now launched picture messaging on their network. It’ll be compatible with the global MMS standard, but – like MMS over here (UK) until fairly recently, you can’t send picture messages to other networks … yet.
Verizon has gone for the MMS standard even though it is a CDMA carrier.
