Samsung have today announced a new addition to their highly successful Galaxy range of handsets, the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2.

The Xcover is an Android handset designed for those that have a love for outdoor living and need something a little more durable than the standard device.

Its dust proof, sand proof, waterproof up to 1m for up to 30 minutes and you can even take pictures underwater with it.

The 4.0″ display is coupled with a 5MP camera and a 1GHz dual core processor.  Running on Android Jellybean 4.1, the device also come pre-loaded with Google maps data and a cardio trainer pro workout application.
