If you’ve come here as a user of CoolSmartPhone, our sister site, you may remember my original review of Hatchi, the Tamigotchi-like virtual pet (to refresh your memory, click here). Well, today Portable Pixels, the creators of Hatchi, launched their new game Alien Hatchi on iOS.
Alien Hatchi is based on a similar premise to the original, where you care for a creature by feeding it and playing with it. However, this is a much more in-depth game – now your choices affect the development of the alien you care for and it has an end goal – to get the Alien Hatchi back to their own planet. It also is location aware as well – you can take your Hatchi for walks to collect fuel that can be used for ship upgrades and the like.
