The other week we saw the Motorola Motoluxe, details here and the various PR people on hand didn’t really know anything about the future updates of the new budget device. Well Eurodroid have got there hands on an updated ICS update schedule which now shows the Motoluxe as “In Evaluation and Planning” so it might get an update at some point in the future.
Quite interestingly though is the schedule for the various Xoom models. Quarter 3 for the Xoom 2?. I would be livid if I had bought one of those last year. Also the original Xoom which was meant to be the Google experience tablet if you bought the Wifi model the update is soon and if you bought the more expensive model then your going to have to wait.
The whole update to Ice Cream Sandwich has really highlighted the problem with this method of updates. Google really need to sort this out. A model similar to Microsoft or Apple would be preferable. How would you like your updates then people?
