Yes, you read that right. Tomorrow, in New York City, Microsoft will apparently confirm an alliance with Nokia. CNET reports that it will be part of a plan to roll out the Office suite on Nokia handsets. This comes following agreements to use Microsoft Exchange and Windows Live on Nokia phones.
Many will be confused as to why this agreement is being made, especially as one of the main advantages and selling points of Windows Mobile phones is the on-board Microsoft Office suite. Just to add some more interesting news it’s also emerged that Nokia could be dropping Symbian in favour of Maemo. We’ll know more tomorrow.
