Owen from MSMobileNews has emailed in about a rather interesting issue. He’s gone into Start-> Settings-> Security-> Certificates-> Root and found that the “GTE CyberTrust Root” one is due to expire in just a couple of weeks time. We’re not 100% sure what will happen when it expires, however it seems to be installed in order to keep Exchange Server synchronization secure over HTTPS. It’s a tad strange that this should run out just mere months after the handset has been released though.
Oh, and whilst I was doing this story I found that you can get ActiveSync Remote Display working on Windows Mobile 5.0 devices. Just click here to remotely control your Windows Mobile phone…for free!
