#MWC24 – Honor Magic6 Pro launched

So we are on the ground at the Honor “Discover the Magic” Event and we have just been treated to the keynote from the Honor team and George Zhao.

It was full of all the Glitz and Glamour that we have come to expect from big MWC launches. But what you really want to see is the hard facts.

So the event’s main focus was the Honor Magic6 Pro Global Release. However, they were also talking about the already announced, the Porsche Design HONOR Magic V2 RSR, the Honor Pad 9 and the AI PC HONOR MagicBook Pro 16

We were shown all the future proposals for AI and how Honor is going to integrate AI via their newly announced Magic Portal platform across all their devices ie phones wearables tablets and PC. This is going to be seen for the first time on the new Honor Magic6 Pro

Qualcomm had their moment to shine when they came out to talk about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

We then got around to talking about the Honor Magic6 Pro first going into the screen and its high brightness of up to 5000nits peak brightness in HDR conditions. The screen is also one of the best phones so far in terms of the eye car having the 3 THUV Rheinland Certifications.

We were then treated to a very cool video where they were showing off the durability of the NanoCrystal screen but firing the Magic6 Pro at other devices like the iPhone 15 Pro Aax and S24 Ultra.

The next big highlight is the 2nd Gen Silicon Carbon battery to gives extreme battery life and is currently Number 1 on DXO Mark Battery life test.

They then moved on to the AI Powered Honor Falcon Camera System which is designed to help capture fast movement but still retain clarity even in the background. Alot of time was being spent on the camera and rightly so as these cameras do sound technically very impressive. The proof however will be in the testing A lot of the new camera tech is going to be helped by the onboard AI that is being provided by the onboard chipset. They also created a new word Sportography!

A lot of DXO Amrk awards here

We have now moved on to The MagicBook Pro 16

powered by Intel and NVIDIA GPU

Now we have got Porsche Design on stage to talk about the collaboration with Honor

They are planning on redefining luxury together through the partnership.

We then got a tease about the Porsche Design Honor Magic6 RSR but not much was unveiled apart from some images of the camera and the fact that is is coming in March

On last hero shot and the we were done
