We’ve seen a lot of kit from Xiaomi of late. There’s no sign of that stopping, and today they launched even more kit.
This is the new fitness tracker / smart band, the Mi Smart Band 5. It’ll be launched soon here in Europe and gets a 1.1″ high-resolution AMOLED display. This gives extra viewing space, more real-time stats and lets users personalize the band display with more than 65 theme options and customizable function modules.
The optimized PPG sensor adds more accurate heart rate tracking for 11 exercise types, including rowing, yoga, elliptical, jump rope and more. There’s also stacks of other new features, spanning stress level detection, breathing exercises, female health tracking, PAI health matrix, and more.
Not only that, but charging the device is also made simpler with a new magnetic charger that snaps easily onto the back of the band, eliminating the need to remove the strap to charge. One full charge will support up to 14 days of battery life.
