Motorola G 5G Plus appears. Hello again Moto.

You want 5G but you don’t want to be shelling out a load of cash. This, then, is where the Moto G 5G Plus comes in. It’s jut popped up here on the Motorola website.

Running Android 10 you get either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of storage depending on the model – plus a microSD slot for a bit more. It runs a Snapdragon 765 5G chip and has a side fingerprint reader, face unlock, and a 5000mAh battery with 20W “TurboPower” recharging. This puppy should last 2 full days according to Motorola.

Screen-wise you’re getting a 6.7″ 21:9 1080 x 2520 pixel unit with 409 ppi. It’ll do HDR and has a 90Hz refresh rate.

Other specs include a type-C charge port, 3.5mm audio port, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, dual-band WiFi, GPS and Google Assistant.

For your photography, there’s a 48 megapixel main shooter with “quad pixel technology”, a 5 megapixel macro lens, 8 megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2 megapixel depth camera on the square lens arrangement. Up front are two cameras – a 16 megapixel wide camera and an 8 megapixel unit.

This will be available from tomorrow in Europe – €349 (we’re guessing that’ll translate to about £329) for the 4GB RAM / 64GB storage model and €399 (£369 ?) for the 6GB RAM / 128GB variant.
