Available here for a mere £169 this is the new Sony Xperia L4. It’s got a 21:9 6.2″ 720 x 1680 pixel screen and is powered by a Mediatek MT6762 Helio octa-core 2GHz CPU. There’s also 3GB RAM, 64GB storage and a microSD card slot.
Camera-wise there’s a triple rear arrangement involving a 13 megapixel main shooter, a 5 megapixel ultra-wide and a 2 megapixel lens for the bokeh effect. Up front is an 8 megapixel lens for your selfies.
It has a 3580mAh battery with fast charging support and this entry-level smartphone also gets Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, WiFi, GPS and a Type-C port.
The fingerprint sensor is on the side and you can get this one in either black or blue.
The L4 also gets the Sony multi-window UI to run two apps simultaneously, plus the “Side sense” function to switch between your favourite apps effortlessly.
