Recently I’ve written about Sky subscription prices and leaving Sky. What has also popped up though is that fact that those paying for the rather expensive Sports packages aren’t getting the sport they were promised.
The reason, as you may know, is the fact that lots of tournaments, matches, events and competitions are being cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak. So there is, in all honesty, very little sport to watch on Sky Sports or BT Sport. Indeed, a lot of the promised content that people upgraded for just won’t be hitting your TV screens any time soon.
Many have raised the subject of refunds, but sadly both BT Sport and Sky Sports have now stated that this won’t be happening.
So, despite there being no sport, you’ve got to continue to pay for that non-sport coverage.
