Honor phones drop in price during January

If you’re after a cheap phone, Honor have reduced the price of many handsets in their range this January. Their Honor 8A smartphone (which has an octa-core 2.3GHz CPU, minimalistic dewdrop display and great power-saving) is now down to just £119.99 from Argos, but you’ve got to be quick as these deals only last until January 31st.

Other phones that have been reduced in price include the Honor 20 Pro, which is now £399.99 (was £449.99), the Honor 20 at £299.99 (was £329.99) and the Honor 9X for £219.99 instead of £249.99. The Honor 20 Lite is also in the sale, with £10 off the price – down to £189.99. In addition, you can get the Honor 10 Lite for £149.99 instead of the usual £179.99.

If you buy through a pay monthly deal with Carphone Warehouse, you’ll get a free pair of Honor Sports Bluetooth Earphones (on the 20 Pro, 20 or 9X).

In addition, Honor have pushed out the Magic UI 3.0 beta programme in the UK for devices including Honor 20 PRO, Honor 20 and Honor View 20. This gives you an easier and more user experience with magazine layout, a new drop-down menu, a better display with larger fonts plus Dark Mode for heightened consistency, comfort and readability.

The deals end on January 31st, so be quick sharp. Don’t forget, because these phones are already available they’re not impacted by the Google Apps block and will work fine.
