Following the white redesign of the Google Play Store another, and what I deem more annoying update, is due pretty soon. Yes, the Play Store will start playing promo videos in the app listings automatically.
According to Google the videos in the app listings will “help more users discover your content at a glance”.
However, this decision may not go well with some app developers, as the Internet search giant has said that developers will have to disable monetization in these videos – they’re pulled from YouTube.
We have no news if this update to the Google Play Store can be disabled either. Hmmm.. whats your thoughts?
