Every now and again I take a look at the rather brilliant robots that are created by the teams at Boston Dynamics. This time they have some interesting industrial robots that counterbalance using a weight between their two wheeled legs.
This is just a test of the automated picking of stock from a warehouse, but it’s not too much of a stretch to imagine perhaps slightly smaller versions of these working in your local Amazon warehouse to pick everything from your next smartphone to a new laptop.
