Blackberry KEY2 LE announced at IFA

TCL have today announced a new version of their KEY2 family – the KEY2 LE

Available from September at a RRP of £349, the LE is a great alternative to anyone wanting a keyboard powered smartphone without needing the power from the older brother version. Along with the UK, it’ll be available in Germany, France, UAE, Canada for $519 and the US for $399. In the EU it’ll be €399, however this pricing is all for the 32GB storage variant. You can pay a bit more (£399 GBP / $449 USD / €429 EUR / $579 CAD) for the 64GB storage variant.

The KEY2 LE packs a 4.5″ display, 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 636 (octa-core with 4 1.8GHz and 4 1.6GHz) processor and runs Android Oreo out of the box. It measures 150.25 x 71.8 x 8.35mm and weighs 156g. You can get it in “Atomic Red, Champagne or Slate”.

You also get a dual camera setup on the back with a 13 megapixel and 5 megapixel duo which allows for fancy bokeh photos and zooming.

There is a 3000mAh battery keeping everything running throughout a day of use and of course, the LE features the iconic keyboard Blackberry are known for.

Available with a microSD card slot, 3.5mm jack, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band WiFi, FM radio, NFC, this is a smartphone for people who want to get things done quickly and correctly.
