Wait a minute though. The Leagoo S9? Wha?
I know. Not a well-known brand, but check out the specs. It’s got a 5.85″ HD+ 19:9 screen (1512 x 720) and run Android 8.1 on a MediaTek Octa-Core 1.5GHz ARM Cortex-A53 CPU. There’s 4GB RAM, 32GB storage and a microSD slot for more. Looking into the details it also seems to cover 4G bands 3, 7 and 20, so you should be good if you decide to import it.
The handset is available in black, blue or gold and has a 3.5mm audio port, Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi. It’s powered by a 3,300mAh battery and has a dual-camera setup at the back – one 13 megapixel shooter and one 2 megapixel. The company says that those two cameras can combine multiple frames to produce a whacking 65 megapixel photo. Up front is an 8 megapixel cam.
There’s a fingerprint sensor and yes, a notch.
For the money though, it’s a bonkers price for that spec. Leagoo have sent us some promotional images and video, so we’re adding them below. Do let us know if you intend on getting one or you’ve got one – we’d love to hear what they’re like.
