The Honor 7X touches down in the UK. Time to max your view..

Remember our full hands-on of the Honor 7X ? Well, time to open a bottle my friends, it’s coming to the UK and – as we suspected – it’s going to be pretty cheap too.

The Honor 7X has that 5.93″ (2160 X 1080) edge-to-edge almost bezel-less screen which the company calls “FullView”. Honor are keen to point to the 2.5D curved glass design, metallic chassis and perfectly rounded edges. The screen is an 18:9 ratio with a one-key split-screen function.

Price-wise, you’ll be able to pick one up for a mere £269.99 today from store.hihonor.com, Amazon, Argos and Very.co.uk. Yes, you can actually get one right now here. Not only that, but the guys at Three will be picking it up early in the New Year.

Around back, as we showed you earlier, there’s a dual-lens 16 and 2 megapixel camera arrangement with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) promises DSLR-level photo quality. It’s powered by an octa-core (4x 2.36GHz and 4x 1.7 GHz) Kirin 659 CPU. There’s 4GB of RAM with 64GB of on-board storage and a microSD card slot for more space. Honor have also thrown in some clever optimization and file management features prevent Android slowing down over time.

The company also tells us that the 3340 mAh battery will last for more than a day, despite the big screen.

George Zhao, President of Honor, tells us..

The Honor 7X is the leading choice for users who want to enjoy rich functionality with the benefits of a bezel-less phone, while considerate on their budget,” said . “We are immensely proud of the quality control it undertakes in producing every phone – Honor 7X was dropped over 4,800 times in the lab in testing – so users can be assured that better value for money doesn’t compromise our high-end quality.

If you get one of these today you’ll also get a free pair of Bluetooth headphones.

Don’t forget, if you want further details and a heap more photos, head to the Honor 7X overview.

Oh and yes, that’s a microUSB port. And no, we can’t find any mention of NFC (contactless payments)…
