Samsung Galaxy Note 8 spotted on Geekbench

With mere days to go until the launch of the next big Samsung device, details of the handset have appeared on Geekbench, the cross-platform benchmark site.

According to Telefoon.nl the SM-N950F model number reveals the fact that it’s the Note 8, and although the score isn’t massively high it does reveal some interesting highlights…

There’s 6GB of working memory with the eight-core Snapdragon 835 and an Exynos 8895 at 1.69 GHz. The Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS is driving the show and we’re expecting a 6.3″ AMOLED display which should take up almost all of the frontage.

Rumours suggest that the Note 8 will have a pressure-sensitive screen

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is to be launched on August 23rd, and we’ll let you know more then. Expect availability to be early September.
