This isn’t the Nokia you know and love(d). This is the network side, but it’s good to see the name getting such massive exposure here in Barcelona. The stand they have here is nothing short of colossal, with lots of unused space just… because they can. There’s a demo of some 5G technology here with the responsiveness shown on a raft of handsets – some on 5G and some, presumably, on 4G. There’s also a demonstration of autonomous vehicles connected by 5G. Let’s just hope the signal doesn’t drop out.
It’s not particularly meaty this, but it does give you a sense of exactly what it’s like to be here on the Mobile World Congress show floor.
