Oppo R7 Plus now available outside China
Back in May Oppo announced their new R7 Plus. It’s a handset with a 6″ 1080 x 1920 (~367 ppi) screen and measures in at 158 x 82 x 7.8 mm giving you a 80% screen-to-body ratio. Now the OPPO R7 Plus has been launched in Southeast Asian markets too.

Running Android v5.1 / Color OS 2.1, it’s powered by a Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 octa-core CPU, which has four cores at 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and four at 1 GHz.

On board you get 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage with a microSD slot for up to 128GB more. There’s two cameras. The back one is a 13 megapixel primary with Schneider-Kreuznach optics, laser autofocus and dual-LED flash. The front one is an 8 megapixel unit. You can also expect a fingerprint sensor, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth. The handset is built using a magnesium-aluminum alloy unibody and Oppo have given it a premium, quality feel with 48 polishing processes.

As for the battery, it’s a 4,100mAh unit which should, according to Oppo, see you using the phone for two days straight. There’s also a clever VOOC Flash Charging solution which gives “2 hours of conversation after only 5 minutes of charging”.
