innerexile Hydra self-healing case review (iPhone 6)

We all want to keep our shiny new phones looking as perfect for as long as possible. Lets be honest who wants to see a mark on their £500 new baby?

When it comes to keeping devices like new there are thousands and thousands of options. all of which have different styles, colours and materials to help keep your screen clean.

Just when you think you have your choice made you then see there’s something better. Here, innerexile have made their case “self healing”.

As you can see in the video above, the case goes through quite a lot of torture, from bending to being scratched. Well, I tried to scratch it anyway.

What you will see is, within a short time, any small scratches should disappear magically!

OK you got me, it’s not really magic, but it is really cool having a case that will not only help prevent scratching, but can also heal itself. This will help keep your phone AND your case as good as new.

Those of you who remember the original LG G Flex might remember this technology being used in their back cover and it was a first of it’s kind.

Something to remember with this case is that if you drop it, your screen may still get smashed. However, what the case does do well is let you put the phone in your pocket, on a desk or on any surface without worrying about the back or sides getting scratched.

What would work well is pairing the Hydra case with a glass screen protector so you keep both front back and sides covered with little extra thickness taking away from the design.

Considering the self healing technology being used and being super thin and light, how much would you expect to have to pay to own one?  £20?, £25?

Well the great news is you can get one over on Amazon UK right now for just £12.71 plus delivery in either smoke black (the one we have) or a clear version.

If you are looking for a a super thin and light case to keep your iPhone looking like new, and also want to keep the case looking nice, then the innerexile hydra is a good purchase for a really low price, just be sure to pair with a good screen protector!

Big thanks to the innerexile team for sending us this review sample.
