Acer announce the Liquid S2 at IFA
The Acer Liquid S1 has barely reached our shores and today Acer have announced its successor. The Liquid S2 is a 6″ monster, boasting a 13MP camera with a ring flash, an 1080p HD screen and a Quad core 2.2 GHz CPU.

This new S2 will sit well and truly in the phablet category and is the first 4K-recording smartphone with a full HD IPS display.

There’s also a 2 megapixel shooter up front and both cameras have extra software features, which include the ability to take snaps from the lock screen and you can tweak the focus or exposure settings.

There’s two stereo speakers with Dolby Digital Plus and it’s 8.9mm thick.

It sure sounds like an impressive device, especially with the decent sounding camera, fancy CPU and the RAM, now if the price is right and if they can get it out sharpish it could be a hit.
