A (rather difficult to read) shipping note has been spotted showing that a Samsung SM-V700 watch has made its way from Korea to Bangalore, “For R & D purpose”.
Unfortunately there are no specs, but surely it will be an extension of their “life companion” ethic, so expect features galore.
Assuming this isn’t some sort of ruse, the fact that Samsung are getting interested in the smartwatch market is another worry for Pebble, who have had trouble fulfilling their promises and also have Sony on their case.
What are Samsung doing going into this niche market though? Do they have something revolutionary up their sleeve? Are they trying to cover the chance that Apple maybe developing an iTimepiece? Maybe they just want to add another screen size to their arsenal!
