The two “phones of the moment” are the HTC One and the Samsung Galaxy S4, so I decided to take a look at what you can get.
A lot of the prices quoted involve you getting cash back, so the monthly cost is shown with the cash deducted and without, just so you can see how much will be going out of your account each month. For the HTC One I found this Orange deal. It’ll give you the phone for nothing and 500MB of data allowance. For the Samsung Galaxy S4 I’d recommend another Orange deal, this deal offers unlimited minutes, 3000 texts and you get the phone for free. There’s 1GB of data per month and this works out at £36 per month, but after the £95 cash back it works out at £32.04 per month. There’s lots of other Galaxy S4 deals to sift through too.
But why have an S4 ? The still-brilliant Samsung Galaxy S3 is available in white and blue for just £15.50 per month. No cash back here, this is just a fantastic deal. You get 1GB data, 50 minutes of calls and 250 texts. Ideal for those who don’t call a lot but browse quite a bit. The phone is free too.
