I get many, many emails asking me how quickly you could take 999 photos on your phone. It’s a very good question, and I’m sure there’s at least… a person out there who wants to take 999 pictures of a thing.
Now, although the phone in question – a Sony Xperia Z – is held stock still and pointed at inanimate object, it’s still pretty shocking. In burst mode it captures 999 shots in just 68 seconds. We make that 14.69 frames per second, and that’s 9 megapixels per picture. Wowzer.
