RIM rebrands; now just BlackBerry
Something else to come out of today’s BB10 announcement was that Research In Motion are rebranding to become BlackBerry, representing a unification of the devices and the brand behind them. It shows how RIM are playing hard to re-invent themselves in a rapidly changing mobile environment, and I think that with today’s announcement they’ve done that very well.

The RIM name will be dropped as BlackBerry unifies under the ‘One Brand, One Promise’ motto. Here’s a video with the CMO of BlackBerry, Frank Boulben:
