Oppo Finder 5 set for worldwide launch

Oppo is not a name that many will be overly familiar with.

Based in  Dongguan, Guangdong in China, Oppo have be manufacturers of mp3 players, blu-ray players, audio equipment and mobile phones since 2004.

Now they are set to break the record for the worlds thinnest smartphone with the impending launch of the Android powered Oppo Finder 5.

Made primarily from military grade stainless steel, Oppo claim the body is incredibly strong, the Oppo Finder 5 has a 4.3″ Super Amoled Plus display, is powered by a 1.5Ghz dual core CPU, has wireless charging and Dolby surround sound.

Also included is an 8mp rear camera with 1080p capabilities and a front camera that shoots in 720p.

A major feature is the promise of weekly OTA updates based on user feedback and Oppo’s aim to have the “worlds best interface”.

At 6.65mm thin the Finder 5 certainly promises to be an interesting proposition.

We will of course bring you more news as it becomes available.
