Galaxy S3 helps push Samsung profits through the roof

A few tips for you. First, when you’re writing a story for this site, don’t walk into a web cafe and press CTRL+V because… WOAH… you’ll be surprised what you can find.

Secondly, it’s worth buying some shares in Samsung. They’ve almost doubled their operating profit in Q3 with their Galaxy handsets powering an expected $7.2 billion operating profit in Q3. This is up from $6.06 billion in Q2 and $3.84 billion in Q3 2011.

The good news could come to a quick end in Q4 as the iPhone 5 sales bite into their record profits, but the Galaxy S3 in particular has helped to push profits up through 2012.
