We’re not sure what Viber has been drinking, but the VoIP service has added the Symbian (Symbian Belle), S40 and Bada operating systems to its list of clients. Its already got clients available for Blackberry, iOS, Android and Windows Phone, so they’ve pretty much completed a clean sweep of the range of smartphones it can operate on.
Not content with hitting the 100 million user mark, a new client has been released exclusively for current Lumia windows Phone 7 users to allow HD quality voice calls, as well as introducing group messaging – that will add to the text and photo messaging options already available.
Not to be left out, iOS gets local language optimisation for a number of languages, including Arabic, both versions of Chinese, French and Hebrew.
I’m sure it comes as a shock that the blackberry version didn’t get any love, with no updates, and still no voice capability. The homepage for that currently states it is still Coming Soon. Maybe at the beginning of the next ice age?

Viber for Windows Phone 7 on Nokia Devices
Viber is also releasing a completely new version for Nokia Lumia phones running the Windows Phone 7 platform. Viber now offers Nokia Windows Phone 7 users free HD-quality phone calls and group messaging in addition to free text and photo messages. This version was developed in partnership with Nokia and is currently available exclusively on Nokia Lumia phones.

Also being released is an update to the iOS platform. Viber for iPhone now contains localization to: Arabic, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Hebrew and Portuguese.
