Three have announced a range of new SIM only plans. The most interesting out of their new offering are the Ultimate Internet SIM 200 plan at £12.90 or The One Plan at £25.00 are both available on a one-month rolling contract. Also there is the Essential Internet SIM 200 plan, available from £6.90 per month, the plan has 500 MB of data 200 minutes and 5000 texts all on a 12 month contract.
Three really have carved out a niche for themselves offering what the other networks really seem to struggle with (apart from maybe GiffGaff). The £12.90 Ultimate Internet Plan would be ideal for a second device or as I do putting in something like the Galaxy Note.

Figures released by market research agency GfK, suggest that since June 2010 the total contract SIM market has grown considerably, up a staggering 34% in volume for June 2012 versus June 2010 1 .
Additionally with ownership of data-hungry smartphones expected to reach over 80 per cent by the end of 2012, consumers are looking for flexible options that can best support their ever-growing data needs 2 .
