Yes, you did read it correctly, Google are set to release their own branded tablet.
It is rumoured that Google are preparing an on-line store, selling directly to consumers, much like they tried (and failed) to do with the original Nexus.
The store will sell the Google branded tablet, alongside Asus and Samsung models, though some rumours suggest they may all be branded as ‘G’ models.
This move is a clear attempt by the big ‘G’ to take back some of the market share from Apple and Amazon.
As Google have now had the green light in their acquisition of the Motorla Mobile division, it might not be too long before they produce their own MotoTab.
No official launch date has been announced, or even hinted at, but rest assured, we will bring you the news as soon as it breaks.
