The LG Note.. sorry.. what am I saying. The LG Optimus Vu isn’t a device you’ll see appearing here in Europe for some time. This puppy is LTE all the way and will be hitting Korea to begin with, then you might see it in Germany followed by the UK if the LTE networks start lighting up in a big way. It’s got a 5″ 4:3 screen, dual-core 1.5GHz CPU and a pretty decent 2080mAh battery life. Couple that with the 32GB storage, an 8 megapixel camera and … a pen.
Here’s a demo of the device followed by some up-close photos. The LG rep told us that it’s designed to feel like a notepad – see that leather-style feel to the rear of the phone. I’ll be honest here, there’s a lot to be said for the “old square format” in tablets, and it really did feel comfortable in the hand.
