O2 and HTC hit the Town In Edinburgh

O2 and HTC have combined forces last night giving people the oppurtunity to come out and meet them and get there hands on with some of the current line up. The event which was held in the Three Sisters Pub in Edinburgh gave the chance for some phone loving Scots’s to come hand a play and meet each other to discuss phones.
In addition it was an oppurtunity for those interested to take away a phone courtesy of O2 and HTC and to test it with the view to gaining some real world feedback.

The event was a great success with the oppurtunty for people to mingle and use the phones it was also a chance for O2 and HTC to showcase features of their phones and services.
I was lucky enough to be given the oppurtinity to review a HTC Rhyme in Plum and I will be using said device for the next few days to give it a thorough test.

I think that this event is showing the start of growing trend that we are starting to see from both manufacturers and networks. Customer feedback is becoming more valued and is starting to make a real impact in the design of UI and phones features.

Great to see O2 being at the forefront of this and hopefully it is something we will see more of in the future.
