You know the scenario, you’re browsing through the hundreds of games on the Android Market and you come across something odd. You tap on it to read the bio. It starts to freak you out. You wonder quite why someone would make it. You then wonder if it’s a pervy thing. Well that sort of thing is what I’ll be taking a light hearted look at in these “Strange Android stuff I’ve found this week” posts.

Level 1 – Daniel will have to kiss Selena while she’s sleeping and try not to wake her up.
Level 2 – It is up to Nick to kiss Selena while driving but paying attention to the road too and trying not to get hit by another car.
Level 3 – This time it is Selena that kisses the boys but she has to be careful not to be seen by the other one.
Who thinks this stuff up. It’s mental. Why have between 100,000 and 500,000 people installed it?
Below is a shot of Daniel sneaking into Selenas room and trying not too wake her up. The second shot is Nick and Selena really not paying attention to the road.
Next up we have a slightly less odd one. Free Mood Scanner is an app where you put your finger on the screen and it scans your finger and tells you what sort of mood your in or what your personality is. Hmmm. According to the developers description on the market Free Mood Scanner is “The best Mood Scanner for Android”. Oh in that case I’m sold.
Once it has decided what mood you are in it can then display an amusing picture of the result or you can share your new found mood with the world via a whole host of mediums.
Again I am astounded at this. Who on earth would use this? Please let me know if you install this and it correctly identifies you as being bemused, baffled or confused.
The last slightly odd app this time is Hairstyles for Men. Which basically just shows you pictures of men with different hairstyles. They describe it as follows. Do you want to change your hairstyle but don’t know what style to change to? If so, then this is the app for you. Few hundreds of pics of different hairstyles and videos that teach you how to style your hair on your own.

I guess the whole plan is to help men find a hairstyle and then go the barbers and show them what you want. But back in the real world who would actually do this? I would be mortified.
